Nakaranas ng mahina hanggang sa malakas na pagyanig ang ilang bahagi ng Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao nitong nakaraang mga araw. Ano ang dapat na gawin upang maging handa sa anumang hindi inaasahang sakuna?

  1. House (Bahay) : Siguraduhing ibaba ang mga gamit na maaaring bumagsak at humarang sa daan palabas ng inyong bahay o lugar.
  2. Survival Kit –  Siguraduhing kumpleto ang gamit na nasa survival kit ng bawat miyembro ng pamilya. Dapat may mga gamit ito sa panligo tulad ng sabon, toothbrush at toothpaste, mga damit, suot pambaba tulad ng sapatos at tsinelas, atbp. Kung kailanganin, ihanda na rin ang mahahalagang dokumento tulad ng birth certificate at passport.
  3. Evacuation Plan – Planuhin at magtalaga ng “temporary” evacuation plan na malayo sa anumang matataas na bagay at gusali upang paghintayan sa mga naiwan pang kasama.
  4. Family(Pamilya) – Pagusapang mabuti ang lugar na pagkikitaan kung sakaling maligaw at magkahiwahiwalay sa gitna ng pagyanig ng malakas na lindol. Gumawa rin ng “escape path” plan palabas ng bahay at ipaalam ito sa buong pamilya.
